Gertie's Soda Shop Dress
Gertie's Soda Shop Dress
Gertie's Soda Shop Dress was inspired by a movie that I watched which was set during WWII. The movie contained a scene where a young girl named Gertie went to a soda shop after church on a Sunday. The dress she wore had a lovely little Madeira applique collar.
I've taken that inspiration and created a sweet princess line dress with a bit of a 1940's flair. It has the inspired Madeira applique collar and a bit of a tailored look with options for both long and short sleeves, and gathers in the center back.
Your little ice cream lover will look every bit the part at the ice cream shop in the Gertie dress.
